On April 22, we celebrate Earth Day. It’s right around the corner. On April 14th there was a beach cleanup at Asbury Park, and there is another set to take place in Belmar on April 29th. If you plan to pitch in, the meeting place is 19th Ave. at 9:00-11:30. After the cleanup, you could always head to Bradley Beach to the Green Fair held at Riley Park on Main Street. If you don’t have a way to get to either of these, you could spend the day planting something like a garden or a tree. On May 7th you could also go to Fair Haven for their Earth Day celebration from 1-4.  But the best thing to do on a regular basis is to just recycle. It’s the easiest and fastest way to help the planet.
