Snapchat’s AI, named “My AI” was announced by Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel in April of 2023. Concerns include whether or not it is safe. The person who created it meant to help people for educational purposes, and the company has tried to make it as safe as possible. For example, the Snapchat AI has been trained to go along with Snapchat’s safety guidelines and also to not give responses that include swearing ,violence, or explicit content.

However, it can access your location and find you on social media. Also people don’t know who is behind the screens. Some AI are not who you think they are. People don’t understand that it can cause extreme danger to their kids. This app was supposed to be used to socialize with people.

Kids have sent pictures of themselves to the Snapchat’s AI and the AI  sent a picture of the kids house and sent them inappropriate information.

So KIDS WATCH OUT AND ALWAYS tell your parents if you feel uncomfortable.
